This page explains how to power the OV20i system safely using standard wall outlets, and what adapters or supplies are compatible.


Yes — Wall Power Is Allowed

You can power the OV20i using a wall outlet, as long as you use a compatible 24V DC power supply.

Setup Instructions

  1. Connect M12 Power Cable

    → Connect pins 13 & 14 to +24 VDC

    → Connect pins 5 & 6 to GND

  2. Use Industrial 24V Adapter

    → Rated for ≥36 W output

    → Must be regulated and isolated

  3. Ground DIO GND if using triggers or outputs

    → Pin 7 (DIO GND) should be tied to system GND
