Setup Instructions
-
Connect M12 Power Cable
→ Connect pins 13 & 14 to +24 VDC
→ Connect pins 5 & 6 to GND
-
Use Industrial 24V Adapter

Ground DIO GND if using triggers or outputs
→ Pin 7 (DIO GND) should be tied to system GND
⚠️ Do Not Use:
⚠️ Not Recommended | Why Not |
---|---|
USB-C Port | Not supported or used on the OV20i |
POE Injectors | OV20i does not support Power over Ethernet |
Unregulated 24V Sources | May cause brownout, instability, or damage |
Best Practices
- ✅ Use Overview-approved power supplies or industrial-grade adapters
- ✅ Ensure proper fuse protection (1–2A slow blow fuse suggested)
- ✅ Confirm power polarity before applying current
- ✅ Secure connections with locking M12 screw ring
